dota actually looks alot less senseless if you stare hard enough, even tho klar and i were half falling aslp no thanks to michael's brilliant hero with zero kills lol. kinda reminds me of the odd period of time i was hooked onto red alert. there is smth fascinating abt killing and getting paid for it.

the hols have been crazy but fun so far: SONG AND DANCE COMM IS DAMN FUN altho it gets kinda zzz when u hear the same song (no, make tt songS) a gazilliontrillion1209740983217 times. choreography was The Best, special thanks to kevin who really should be an honourary member of oteam (HAVE FUN IN JAPAN AND DON'T FORGET TO BRING BACK A CUTE GUY!).

canoe expedition was rain, rain, and more rain but it was fun too, esp the short skits ("...well, i am missing a shoe tho" lmao), the spastic games ("...so they set off on a quest to find a nail clipper. they went up and down and up and down the mountains..."), the non-stop hits on the way back. move over iPod -- canoe possesses an iKeith, an iZhiwei, an iWeishern and an iMichael.

toon and the rest of the girls are leaving tmr and i'll be joining them on sunday with my parents and kiat. wonder what manila's like, what it's like to watch purely as a spectator for the first time. in any case i hope the shopping's gd. damn. sometimes i really wish i had a cam to capture classic moments like the many frm today's absolutely fulFILLING food hunt (you wld think a lit student would know how to pun more subtley but, alas) and other memorable events but no $$ no cam and no patience to bring one along everytime so ah well.

GO TRY GERMAN SAUSAGES AT CHINATOWN, SMITH STREET. chao gd. i bought a bottle of the curry ketchup back (it was THAT gd) and my dad was like "you brought back the sauce nv buy back the sausages"

the holidays have begun, and thus has my marathon of juggling gym, canoe, dance and oteam stuff. exciting. it's pretty cool to be involved in sch for once, instead of getting excused for every other sch related activity due to trng or physio or comp or simply ponning.

i've had a great time being a j1 in rj, a yr of many firsts: first audition, first interview, first non-gym cca, first contribution other than in medals. all tt coin tossing b/w rj and hc, all tt bouncing back and forth b/w pcmlit and trip sci, all tt initial apprehension abt an odd combi class and the touted Rafflesian Snobbishness and/or School Spirit (or lack thereof) has turned out worthwhile. shall enjoy the hols while they last and then it's back to sch as a j2 (i am so not 18-yr-old material).

i miss all the j2s alr, esp youzi. NVM. you can crash orientation next yr! and trng and when u work at some ice cream parlour (you ARE going to work in an ice cream parlour because they give free ice cream) i am going to go there on the pretext of visiting you (which you will fall for) and kope your ice cream :D

am currently addicted to com games like HEARTS and MINESWEEPER (i play the Intelligent Way now, not the Anyhow-Click-Way okay) and i saw the dvd for The Traveling Pants but didnt get it even though it had alexis bledel. oh and wensi, maybe i should post a picture of gary (preferably an imposing one) to deter any future admirers (jk jack lol).

rj open house was FUN though i didnt really get to befriend ppl cos of performance prep and all but hiphop received gd feedback haha which is really cool. thanks to matt and cat for great teamwork in choreography and everything [: and the gym booth was a big hit after all. all the ppl flocking there cos we had a whole room to ourselves and jemtan's ibook on which russell peters amongst alot of other -ahem- non-gym-related stuff was playing haha. plus the gym board turned out pretty gd even under kennethnah's supervision (amazingly).

lotsa fun, really really funnn walking arnd all the booths, trying out the fastest to 60 challenge (and getting displaced frm 1st to 11th lol), mass dancing, saboing ppl to demo back sommers (HAHA)...

on another note promos results fulfilled their promise of being interesting. and i should learn to be less gullible (does dennet have a twin or NOT??) haha

and is it just me, or is it scary how fast everyone is growing up... youzi's off to uni next yr, meiling will graduate in abt 2 yrs' time and be sucked into the whirlwind of the working world, sanmay just left for uni and i'm approaching my last yr in jc which is sad cos jc has been SO much fun thus far. The Last Waltz had a beautiful version of Forever Young by The Youth Group and it made me wonder, wld you prefer to stay forever young or grow old?

<no oc for the next month though ';fdkf;lkj americans and their as;ldjlsdkj beloved playoffs

ihc track finals today, and i managed to run the 100m final cos they had spare lanes and moor-tarbet was allowed to send in another runner! (or smth to tt effect all i got was the end part of being allowed to run) and it was gd [: havent run since recon and it was more of a confidence booster in my knee than anything. MOOR TARBET RELAY ROCKED eunice me dani and joella muahaha i have so missed sprinting

ogl interview was blah i dont think i'll get to be an ogl cos they said they wont let ppl who miss dry runs and i'll be missing them cos i'm going to manila to watch sea games (GO TOON WENSI WEI WENLING BILAH TABBI NICOLE) and tt's sad but oh well saw tt one coming... the spontaneous qn was prob one of my moemnts of absolute brilliance. they throw a random word at you and you're sup to come up with smth to say or do related to the word and mine was 'broom'. i have no idea why i didnt think of saying smth like quidditch or sweeping or whatever. instead, i grabbed the broom and began demonstrating strokes and i really think the councillors were being v nice not to die laughing on the spot (world's funniest joke -- monty python HAHA) ahh. they did say spontaneous ha
